FashionSheSays Flooring Nov 7, 2009 3:48 PM Vintage Diane von Furstenberg for RE-7 slip. Fur vest. Theory belt. Vintage costume pearl & black bead necklaces. Vintage costume woven bangle. Vintage costume turquoise ring. Black tights. Chanel shoes. Here I’m costumed in a chiffon maxi dress (full disclosure: it’s a vintage nightgown – Diane von Furstenberg designed for RE-7 in the 1970’s). As hippies & long dresses go together like headbands & pearls, I embraced the love child vibes with a faux fur vest & some necklaces. The best part about this negligee-cum-dress is I can go straight to bed after a late night out as this one portends to be… More at fashionshesays.com.

FashionSheSays Collared Nov 6, 2009 5:11 PM Tweed coat. Vintage Chanel belt. Vintage flower headband. Vintage costume amethyst, bow, stone & diamond rings. Black tights. Vintage Gucci bag. Chanel shoes. I'm rocking the 1930's gadabout look in a tweed coat with a natty fur collar, a flower headband & a vintage briefcase. My mom bought the purse for her mom in the 1970's to celebrate her first real job. Recently I discovered it while exploring my grandmother's closet & she magnanimously regifted it to me... Thus did a Gucci bag touch the lives of three generations of women... Fashionshesays.com.
RunawayGallery Studio Wardrobe Department, Hollywood Nov 6, 2009 1:59 PM So somehow we stumbled into the Studio Wardrobe Department vintage store on Highland (near Sunset) on their closing night. (Who knew?) This place has been here for decades and they closed last night. I remember buying a New Kids on the Block shirt here for a dollar-- five or so years ago. But apparently the rent is too high...blah blah blah etc..they're moving to the valley and they'll email me when they set up shop. It's really sad actually, this place has always been one of the hidden gems that you would expect to run into if you're in Hollywood, but you never do. And now you never will. Essentially, it was just waiting to be part of a movie montage where the lead characters change from outfit to outfit to costume to outfit until they find exactly what they're looking for. They were literally moving out as we were there. Ugh. This mirror is so dirty. Hey, look, there's a ladder.   Anyway. Sorry. This is me: Jacket: Level 9 (?), Sweatshirt: American Apparel, Scarf: Yaya Aflalo, Dress: American Apparel, Belt: Linea Pelle, Stockings: Aardvarks, Shoes: Vintage (eBay!)   Hope you're all well! I apologize again for how dirty that mirror is. And the ladder.
