I get a little nervous shelling out over $50 for handmade clothing online - I can't see it, I can't try it on, and if it doesn't fit or the work is shoddy it's tough to send back a custom made item. Luckily, I discovered Emily Ryan, a brilliant designer who eased my fears. I fell in love with her architectural dress designs the first time I saw them on etsy, but owning one is sure to make an addict of me. The dress is beautiful, structured, and perfectly custom fit. It was a wardrobe favorite the instant I tried it on.

In fact, the boyfriend and I were so impressed that the dress inspired an impromptu photo shoot. Check out the pictures and you will understand.
