denim on denim

I've seen double denim cropping up in a few places, like here and here, and I decided that I'd be a little less daring and mix my denims by doing completely different colors. Black denim jeans and a denim jean jacket is about as 'denim on denim' that I'll get --- for now.

Here's what I'm wearing:
Jean Jacket: Diesel
Turtleneck: J Crew
Scarf: A gift from Ukraine
Jeans: J Brand
Shoes: Nine West

Hoooonestly i'm not into denim-monochromaticness at all... WHenever i've done denim on denim, i've chosen black and blue... You look SO awesome with that striped top!
