yellow submarine
I have some job interviews coming up and put this together, but now i'm not sure if it is too much color. I do work in the design field ( architecture )... i don't want to go overboard. what do you think?

i
it and i think that, since you work in a creative (yet very professional field) it's
totally appropriate! good luck with your interview!!!
1gorgeous!
2I think it is a very polished and sophisticated look that is interview appropriate if (1) the position is considered creative and you would not normally wear a suit to interview and (2) as long as the fabrics all look like they are of nice quality. (They look great in the photo) I only say this b/c I think that brightly colored fabric can look cheap more easily and can change something from sophisticated to tacky. That isn't sounding quite the way I mean it, so I hope I don't sound rude. That's not my intention. I guess I'm saying that if the individual pieces look of a nice quality, then you are more likely to be perceived as "fashion-forward", rather than "too much". I might consider switching to black shoes, just to keep it a little more conservative, but really I think it is a great outfit either way. And the yellow is sure to get you noticed and remembered, which is a great thing in a job interview.
You look great, now knock 'em dead! Good Luck!
3Hmm.. I might switch to a black or navy bag. But otherwise, its a really nice outfit! Good luck with your interview! =)
4I agree with Jesk. I think you should carry a black tote. Would look more polished.
5I agree with haute77 and jesk that with a black bag it would look more polished, but you already look perfect! good look with the interview!....by the way I'm also an architect!
6i love love this outfit! love the bright yellow, yellow means good luck to me! so i think u should wear it. AND GOOD LUCK!
7ooh i love this outfit!!!! good luck with the interview!!
8this has look if the day written all over it!
9I love this outfit and don't think it's too much. The rest of the look balances out the bright color so it's okay. Although I will agree with the others and say that a black bag or black day-clutch would go even better for an interview, give it that professional touch
10All in all, very very nice look and so worth the LotD
I ADORE this! I think it's exceptional from head to toe.....
11amazing look...love the pop of yellow
12You look great, but for an interview I personally would wear a softer color. I agree about the bag tips also.
13Pretty yellow!! adds "look-at-me" to the outfit
14sexy!
15I'm going to have to go against the grain and agree with Ms. Romania. As lovely (and hot) as you look, it might be a little too much. A softer color would work here along with a black/neutral leather tote bag. If you were interviewing for, say, a job as a graphic designer at a really laid-back company, this could work. But since you said you're interviewing as an architect, I might go with a little more professional. Especially since I have a friend who works at an architecture firm (gensler) and she has to be dressed "client-ready" every day, which means uber-professional.
16i'm in industrial design, and we are told to wear a dress, skirt, or pants suit / suit of some sort. but if the color is your personality, then go for it. the fact that you can wear color and bring something different may impress a worker. this kind of color can make you stand out to other people who will show up in more drab outfits.
17then again, the boys in my major tend to show up in dirty clothing.
but i really do think it looks great, just maybe add tights. tights really somehow put it into the professional world.
Me loves! The yellow does wonders to the word, POP!!! ;p
18It doesnt go overboard at all!! It simple and I love how you added and interesting color!
