Stroup has quickly established herself as a highly sought-after young actress in both film and television. She was recently seen starring opposite Brittany Snow in the horror remake Prom Night. The film was a hit and earned a number one spot at the box office with a $20 million opening, an upper tier debut for the genre. Stroup also starred as the female lead in The Hills Have Eyes II. Her additional feature credits include the hit film This Christmas, alongside Chris Brown and Mekhi Phifer, Broken and School for Scoundrels. Stroup recently wrapped two independent films and stars in the lead role opposite Mischa Barton in Homecoming. She will also be seen in The Informers, with Billy Bob Thornton and Winona Ryder. Stroup's television credits include guest starring roles on Grey's Anatomy, October Road and Reaper. She will next be seen guest starring in HBO's forthcoming Alan Ball series True Blood.
