Last Sunday, I attended my good friend's (first!) baby shower. The plan was to eat, play fun mother-to-be games, and open gifts. Since the festivities were held outside and the weatherman predicted partly cloudy skies, I needed you to help me put together a cute layered outfit.

While we eagerly anticipate Sex and the City 2, let's take a look at the starring ladies (minus one) at the ShoWest event in viva Las Vegas. Showing off their sizzling SATC style, the trio donned two sets of outfits. During the daytime festivities, Cynthia Nixon donned an artsy abstract print sheath dress, Sarah Jessica Parker chose a Lanvin sequined one-shoulder frock and nude Charlotte Olympia pumps, and Kristin Davis opted for a floral confection by Oscar de la Renta.

Kristen and Dakota Celebrate at SXSW in Their Casual Way
Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning joined The Runaways director Floria Sigismondi for last night's premiere during the SXSW Film Festival, but Cherie Currie completed their trio at the afterparty. It's been a long few weeks for the girls after promotional stops across their country, but they'll get some rest — and Kristen can finally enjoy a vacation — once the film hits theaters today. Kristen made sure to change out of her red carpet outfit into her favorite jeans and t-shirt, while Dakota stuck with what's becoming her usual in a blazer and skinny pants.

SATC Trio, Jennifer Lopez and Katherine Heigl Steam Up ShoWest
Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis represented Sex and the City 2 at ShoWest in Las Vegas yesterday. They showed off two different sets of outfits, rainbows of color by day and sexy black numbers by night for the event's award show. Newly Grey's Anatomy-free Katherine Heigl had some new extensions to go with her darker hair, promoting her movie with Ashton Kutcher, Killers before being honored in the evening — though he acceptance speech took a turn for the worse when the strap on her dress broke!
