There's something about wearing vintage that makes me feel Hollywood glamorous. TheVintageWeddingDressCompany.com created by notable fashion stylist, Charlie Brear, specializes in vintage, one-of-a-kind wedding dresses and accessories. This site offers inspiration for those who can't make the trip to London, with pieces dating back from the Victorian era to the early '70s.

Dear Sugar,
Like a lot of girls out there, I have already figured out what kind of wedding I want even though there's no groom just yet! Well, my close friend is getting married and while surfing some of the more popular wedding planning websites, I showed her my "dream" dress. She fell in love with it too and now says that it's her "dream" dress as well.

So last week was officially Wedding Weekend Week on the Sugar Network, but we just couldn't wait until honeymoon week to tell you about this: the Trash the Dress Movement. It's a simple answer to that age-old quandary of what to do with your wedding dress once the Big Day has come and gone. It was so expensive that you don't want to shove it in the back of your closet for the rest of eternity, but at the same time, where else are you going to wear it, the grocery store?!

Wedding season on the Sugar network has wrapped, but that doesn't mean we can't still drool over a devastatingly beautiful wedding dress. Said gown is Anzevino and Florence's Walking on Air Wedding Dress ($1,000). It's (not surprisingly) sold out at Revolve, but brides-to-be, I would contact the designers to inquire directly.

While we usually associate Urban Outfitters with hipsters, its parent brand, Urban Outfitters Inc., is ready to commit to a totally new concept: wedding. The Philly-based company — which also houses Free People, Anthropologie, and Leifsdottir — has announced it will be launching a yet-to-be-named wedding brand in Spring 2011. The collection will be designed by UO's Anthropologie team and will include attire for the whole wedding party: wedding dresses, bridesmaid gowns, occasion dresses, jewelry, and accessories.

What if I told you that you could get that $2,000 wedding dress of your dreams for a fraction of the price? Naturally, its been worn once on someone else's most special day and it's coming to you via eBay?
Before you cringe, it should be noted that there is a plethora of gently worn wedding dresses on eBay, including ones designed by Vera Wang and Monique Lhuillier, and think about this: When you buy vintage, those pieces have usually been worn over and over and over again, and you still jump at them, whereas a wedding dress has been worn (hopefully) just once.

Wedding dresses are getting a fashionable makeover thanks to Rodarte's Kate and Laura Mulleavy. The sisters are trying their hand at designing a bridal gown for filmmaker Miranda July. The avid Rodarte fan says her dress is inspired by previous Rodarte collections but not as graphically bold.
