every year my major (textiles and clothing) throws a black, white, and [insert color here] ball. last year was pink, this year it was all about going green. in keeping with the theme, i decided to make my outfit out of the fabric that i had left over from one of my classes.

last week i had dinner with some close friends in celebration of my birthday (a week late, but i was out of town for my actual birthday). there's a great belgian restaurant in town that i quite enjoy, though my bank account prefers i don't dine there too often. the food is lovely and the service is great.
