For Winter '09, Aldo is going shiny...majorly shiny. That's because it has teamed up with Swarovski to create an exclusive jewelry collection made with crystallized Swarovski elements. As you can imagine, there's no shortage of bling baubles to choose from.

Natalie Portman knows how to turn up the volume. At the NYC screening of her new flick, Brothers — btw, she has her first onscreen sex scene in it — the actress wasn't afraid to experiment with color. Her ultraviolet taffeta Jason Wu frock is fun, but a green satin belt, purple Aldo peep-toe pumps, and bright yellow clutch kick it up a few notches.

Aldo's bright colors, plentiful pumps, and Fab flats are just what the doctor ordered for Spring, so how perfect is it that they've marked prices down on quite a few of their shoe(s)?
Take these Aldo Walkden Heels ($50, originally $80); their retro shape reminds me of a pair of Louis Vuittons I've been coveting.

I love the thrill of a good bargain, especially when I dig up a more affordable version of the YSL Pumps that were part of my October Most Wanted! The chunky wooden heel on these Aldo Friliby Pumps, $80 (originally $100), makes me swoon all over again.
Many more lovely shoes and other accessories are all participating in Aldo's in-season sale.

I'm all about adornments but this Aldo Flower Toe Ring ($8) has me in a tizzy. I love to accessorize but wearing a toe ring is a bit cheesy. On the other hand, it might be a fun beach look.

Architect Aldo Rossi's buildings are distinguished by his successful melding of modern design with architectural and vernacular traditions. Whether building an apartment complex or an art museum, his style is unmistakable. Born in Milan, Italy, into a family of bicycle makers in 1931, Rossi grew up during World War II, and later studied at the School of the Somaschi Fathers in Lake Como and the Collegio Alessandro Votas in Lecco.

I will never tire of the school girl look. Glamafer knows what I mean. Her nautical striped top, clean-cut blazer, and oxfords are all reminiscent of my junior high days.

Last weekend was extra special for Jemma84. See, she celebrated her best friend's bachelorette party at a winery. The shiraz was divine and so was her outfit.

While I'll always have love for my black bags, they just might have to take a back seat come Spring. Look at Kerr: her bonny blue satchel makes such an understated yet bold statement with its chic shape and the breezy hue. I love how she contrasted her blue Balenciaga with a green anorak and maroon shoes.
