We spotted a few celebs in the teaser trailer (like David Beckham and Daft Punk), but Snoop Dogg is up first, and he's making his way through NYC with a gaggle of Storm Troopers and the man himself — Darth Vader — to spread the word about these unique shoes. George Lucas already owns the word Droid, so he might as well start dabbling in other areas of consumer products, right? Meet the Adidas Originals Star Wars Edition Spring/Summer line. Inspired by characters and scenes from the Star Wars films, these shoes, specialty jackets, and tees will be sold starting today in limited quantities at Adidas Originals stores.
Gear Review: miCoach by Adidas
After spending much of my day telling other people what to do — in a nice way of course — it's oddly comforting to have my miCoach Pacer ($139) tell me to speed up or slow down when I am out for a run. The miCoach is Adidas's answer to the Nike+ running system, but it offers real time audio coaching. This means a voice, you select the accent (I have chosen British male and like to think James Bond is coaching me), interrupts your music to let you know if you're running too fast, too slow, or just right for the selected workout.

While we usually associate Adidas with workout clothes, the retailer has created a new line of clothing, dubbed Adidas SLVR, for people to rock outside the gym.
The new sportswear collection, not to be mistaken with activewear, consists of clothing, accessories, and footwear. Detailed tees and nylon jackets are said to be key items in the collection.

The Consumer Electronics Show, aka CES, is taking place in Las Vegas right now. And it makes sense that at this convention of electronic gadgetry Adidas chose to introduce its portable coaching device, the miCoach. Adidas brought a handful of fitness bloggers up to Vegas to attend the press conference, and I was lucky to be among them.
