There's a special bond between mothers and sons. Women raising boys have the power to shape the next generation of men and those to come by teaching their kids important lessons.
To express his emotions because bottling them up eventually makes a person explode.
To say "ladies first," hold doors open for women, and give his date the jacket off his back when he or she is cold because the world is moving forward in wonderful ways but that doesn't mean chivalry has to die.
To put the toilet seat down after he pees, change his sheets frequently, learn to cook, and do laundry.
To channel his energy through sports, art, dance, the written word — whatever his passion may be.
That even the biggest fight should be settled with the mind rather than fists.
That not following the group doesn't make him a loser, but his own leader.
To stick up for the underdog even if it makes him an outcast.
That he has the power to make an amazing difference in life.
To worry less about whether she's proud of him and more about having pride in himself.
Smiles are free so be generous with them.

Italian fashion house Moschino is testing out its style skills in the wonderful world of interiors with its brand new Maison Moschino hotel in Milan. Set in an 1840 neoclassical building and former train station, the hotel was designed by the label's creative director, Rossella Jardini, along with its art director Jo Ann Tan, and fully restored with respect to its original façade.
Much like Moschino's apparel, the interiors have a fanciful, surrealistic quality that just toes the line at fantastical.

Now you can officially channel your inner Chanel with the luxe brand's much anticipated Les Trompe L'Oeil Temporary Skin Art ($75 for five sheets of 55 designs). The temporary tats, which last a couple of days — or longer, depending how frequently you shower or rub against them — are applied pretty much like any other temporary tattoo, and are easily removed with a washcloth and warm water or by rubbing with a cream or lotion.
Created by Peter Philips, Chanel's global creative director, and inspired by the luxury brand's Spring 2010 ready-to-wear collection (see images from the show below), the skin transfers, featuring decorative designs like pearls, chains, sparrows, blossoms, and the famous Chanel logo, are available now for a limited time at Chanel.com and Chanel boutiques and makeup studios.
