Spring suede might sound like an oxymoron at first read, but I dare you to reconsider. With the right cut and color, springy suede peep-toe booties can encompass the very essence of warm weather fun — think '70s bohemian glam. I can already think of million ways to wear these Joie Rock Steady Fringe Suede Booties ($345) come Summer.

In addition to keeping paws protected from the cold and chemicals, dog booties have a new purpose in Duesseldorf, Germany – protecting pups from pub-related injuries. Because of a high rate of on-the-job injuries, all 20 police dogs are being trained to walk in plastic fiber shoes to protect them from the broken beer bottles. Even with street cleaning, the little pieces of glass get caught in the cobblestones, deeply pierce paw pads, and bring crime fighting to a bloody halt.

Celebrity trainer David Kirsch's tips are all about the backside in his aptly titled upcoming book, Butt Book. Supermodel Karolina Kurkova was so impressed with Kirsch's ability to shape her booty that she affectionately calls him "Master of the Ass." High praise from someone whose job is looking hot in little clothing.

Right around this time last year I felt my abs burn from the Goddess Abs workout by the two women behind Yoga Booty Ballet, so I thought it was about time that I tried a couple more workouts by the peppy duo. I was looking forward to testing the two-disc set that includes Goddess Booty (25 min.) and Yoga Core (30 min.), but my experience with these DVDs wasn't all-around positive.
Gillian and Teigh used yogic terminology so frequently that it seemed unnecessary and an attempt to distract me from the fact that I wasn't getting a workout.
