Liquid leggings are hard to pull off but knicoleg makes it look easy. The key, as shown here, is to keep the rest of your look super simple. A white tee, black jacket, and flats — perfecto.

Who can you scribe has influenced you? The more I think about it, the more people I could pay tribute to. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen looked understated stellar at Barnes and Noble promoting their book, Influence.

You name it, Beyonce has performed in it. She's done chic, sexy, funky, and she recently did high-fashion at the 2008 World Music Awards. The singer loves Alexander McQueen's designs, so it makes sense that she performed in his velvet waistcoat from the Fall collection.

Moms love their kids but that doesn't mean they don't miss privacy in certain circumstances. Modesty is lost when a woman gives birth and many assume it's gone for good. That keeps mothers longing for a handful of things that they used to take for granted.

If you want to get a jump-start on Spring, consider swooping up the jacket of the season: the anorak. Like, now. I would suggest either khaki, olive, or the classic black anorak.

Look what we have here — Lauren Conrad's Spring '10 collection for Kohl's! Unlike her former Lauren Conrad Collection, LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl's is affordable and truly mimics Lauren's sweet California aesthetic. One of the standouts is this LC Lauren Conrad Ruffled Dress ($40, originally $60), modeled by Lauren herself.

Glamafer is paying ode to the '80s today in a snazzy outfit comprised of a light denim jacket, white tee, and liquid legs. It's simple yet straight up. I also like how she tempered the old-school vibe with a modern statement necklace — smart.

I wouldn't exactly call this a show, rather, it was more like a presentation for Johnny Blue Eyes' 2010 Autumn collection. Held at the Vauxhaull Fashion Scout in Covent Garden, the backstage area for hair, makeup and dressing was set up for tea and cupcakes and filled with bright colours and music. The theme for the show was love, peace and revolution and the makeup (all done by Illamasqua and lead by the Creative Director herself, Alex Box) reflected that optimistic vibe with bold, gold and colourful makeup.

For our final Paint It Black ensemble, I decided to put on my liquid legs, aka liquid leggings. They're surprisingly comfortable; I can spend days in them. Since they're trendy, I kept the rest of me tame by wearing a V-neck tee and a long knit vest.

This week was off to a good start with an extensive tasting at 2010's Winter Fancy Foods Show. But I must admit, walking around eating everything from chocolate to caviar was exhausting.
Midday, we were sampling some serious chili sauce from Indonesia.
