Starting today, French designer Paul & Joe is the latest to contribute to Target's GO International line of clothing. Launched in 1995, Paul & Joe is named after designer Sophie Albou's two sons.
Here are some of my picks from Paul & Joe's Target GO International line.

Tomorrow marks the official start of New York Fashion Week, which makes me wonder: What would you guys wear if you got to attend one of the week's runway shows? After all, no matter how cute those Target Paul & Joe clothes are, it's hard to get away with wearing budget finds when you're surrounded by haute couture. The best strategy, in my opinion, is splurging on one stunning designer piece, like this Paul & Joe Ornika Kimono Top, available for $570 here.

After seeing the success at Target, H&M, Topshop, and the like, Urban Outfitters is jumping into the designer collaboration fray.
The retailer has tapped Geren Ford, Steven Alan, Charlotte Ronson, Paul & Joe Sister, and Corpus to each design mini collections for their stores.
The first collection to hit the racks is Hawks by Geren Ford in May (left), which includes cotton drawstring jackets, knit camis, silk tops, and cotton-blend dresses priced $48-$128.

The most fabulous news: My Fab closet is done! I wanted to make sure it was in tip top order before I did my big reveal. I also had to go the The Container Store to get some boot fillers, skirt hangers (the kind with the multiple hang) and some plastic containers for under my bed storage.

My goal for featuring this belt it out outfit is to inspire everyone to look deep in their closet, just like syako did, to find an old item that hasn't been worn in years. This Fab-ionista adds pizazz to her work outfit with a red studded belt, circa 2001. Way to make the old new again!

I've been a big fan of the Go International line at Target thusfar, particularly the collections by Tara Jarmon and Paul & Joe. For its latest collection, timed to the holiday season, Behnaz Sarafpour is a fitting choice. Known for her signature lace trims and ribbon details, the rising NYC design star is now bringing her ultra-feminine touch down to a more affordable level.

I love the way the fashion world decides every few years to embrace the same delightfully random animal motif. A couple of years ago, it was birds; before that, butterflies. Now, for some reason, it's owls.

It'll cost you just four or five bucks to pick up one of the phonebook-sized fall fashion magazines, but you could easily go bankrupt trying to chase all of the hot trends contained within. So try this smart shopping strategy: Splurge on what are likely to become classic wardrobe staples, and find cheap options for trends that will probably look silly by next year. Here are some tips for following the fall trends without breaking the bank.
